History of Valentine Corporation and Perma Level- General Engineering Contractors - Construction Excellence Since 1964

With Valentine Corporation's expertise in "Unusual and Difficult" projects, it was only fitting that we became a franchise company of the Perma Jack System and added an additional division to the company in 1978. The Perma Jack Division specialized in foundation repair, underpinning, leveling and stabilizing on both residential and commercial buildings.  We used the Perma Jack method for foundation stabilization and house leveling since 1978 and were the only foundation contractor in the S.F. Bay area to do so.

In 2019, after in depth research, the Perma Jack Division decided to make the switch from being a Perma Jack System dealer to become a Magnum Piering Certified Installer. This transition lead to the rebranding from Perma Jack to Perma Level.

Magnum Piering was founded in 1981 as one of the very first foundation repair systems manufacturers in the United States. The Magnum Hydraulic Push Piering System was the company’s flagship product line. Now, after nearly 35 years of unparalleled performance and tens of thousands of successful projects, this system is recognized by contractors across the country as the most efficient and reliable foundation underpinning system on the market. The Magnum Piering Push Pier system is the exact system that Perma Level will be using in all projects starting in 2020.

Valentine is a certified minority contractor with certain Bay Area public agencies and has worked extensively for organizations such as CalTrans, BART, the U.S. Navy, the National Park Service, and numerous city and county agencies.
