Estimated Cost:
Costs vary according to the extent of the damage done to the foundation, but in general, the Perma Level’s method costs less than other reputable repair methods. The cost of underpinning, leveling, and stabilizing with the Magnum Piering System is often about half the cost of drilled piers. Some very general guide lines might be:
A small job might cost from about $5,000 to $10,000
A medium job about $15,000 to $30,000
A large job over $40,000
(the above costs are general ranges as costs will vary based on different factors)
Other systems may require costly call-back repairs for numerous reasons:
Drilled piers are not dug deep enough to make direct contact with rock.
The void between the settling foundation and the house is filled with concrete. Thus, the house is merely shimmed up and will continue to settle.
Cosmetic problems (ie: cracking walls, sloping floors, etc.) associated with foundation settlement are corrected, yet the house continues to sink.
The Magnum system Perm Level installs addresses these issues and eliminates the need for future call-back repairs.
Perhaps the greatest cost saving is the elimination of future costs that other repair systems overlook.
