KCBS - Morning Traffic and Weather Anchor Likes Our Job
Note: Some of you may have listened to KCBS radio in the '90's for news, traffic, and weather. Ron Lyons was the morning traffic and weather anchor on KCBS radio for many years. We did a foundation underpinning and stabilization job for him, pedrforming underpinning and leveling on 4 walls and he wrote this nice letter. Ron passed away a few years ago but is still in our minds and hearts.
Dear Jim
This letter is to let you know how pleased Lana and I are in doing business with you and Perma Jack.
After presenting your commercials for a number of years about "sticking doors" and "cracking walls", I found myself in that quandry as part of my foundation was slipping ever so slowly due to the "creep" in the soil of the hillside where the house is located.
From the moment of our first meeting to the approval by the county, everything was forthright, professional, and the cost was certainly reasonable considering the severity of the problem. David and Ken were not only considerate during this project, they each had a really human side which is sometimes lacking in our society. When it was time to actually level part of the house, they took their time explaining the entire proceedure including how they set their levels, which was very interesting.
You should know that I consulted a structural engineer prior to calling you and he had nothing but high praise for Valentine Corporation saying that you had been highly respected in the construction indusrty for decades.
Again, Lana and I thank you, and as these winter rains continue to fall and cause havoc for some, we sleep much better.
If you wish, you may share this letter with prospective clients.
Sincerely,
Ron Lyons
